INTEL ABOUT TRAVIS AIR SPACE

A-682, better known as Travis airspace, surrounds the Class D Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, California. As general aviation pilots, we cross this space all the time. Many of us talk to Travis ATC and some do not. How does our transit through their airspace affect Travis operations and its military flights?

Join Captain Matthew Wangler, who will explain Travis flight operations and how we can responsibly share the airspace.

Join us for this monthly meeting of the South County Airport Pilots Association. We gather at 5:30 pm, serve dinner at 6:00 pm ($15 members, $20 non-members), hold a brief business meeting at 6:45 pm, and begin this speaker presentation at 7:00 pm.

Guests are welcome!
