Approved by FAASafety for WINGS credit!!

Almost half the aircraft in the San Francisco Bay Area are not yet ADS-B compliant. If they do not take action now to schedule the necessary equipment changes, they will be grounded on January 1, 2020.

How will the Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast system affect the way pilots fly? What are the different types of compliant radios, their costs, benefits and limitations? What are the installation requirements for aircraft owners?

Our speaker this evening, Cameron Rolfe, is an aviation technician and hes been a pilot for more than 45 years. He will provide an informative seminar and answer your questions about compliance options and requirements.

Join us for this monthly meeting of the South County Airport Pilots Association. We gather at 5:30 pm, serve dinner at 6:00 pm ($15 members, $20 non-members), hold a brief business meeting at 6:45 pm, and begin a speaker presentation at 7:00 pm. Guests are welcome!
