A-682, better known as Travis airspace, surrounds the Class D Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, California. As general aviation pilots, we cross this space all the time. Many of us talk to Travis ATC and some do not. How does our transit through their airspace affect Travis operations and its military flights?

Join Captain Matthew Wangler, who will explain Travis flight operations and how we can responsibly share the airspace.

Two New Wagons are in the DART Hangar! PDF Print E-mail

Hi all: Rod Pharis (DART Co-Director) and I drove down to Salinas Grainger and brought home two new Little Giant Wagons. The new wagons feature 2,000 lb. rating; 8-inch polyurethane wheels with grease fittings that roll over pebbles and never go flat; bigger load beds; and much sturdier construction than our old ones.

Rod was able to wrangle the Northrop Grumman discount. As for our old wagons, two of them still work and a third has the wheel that has fallen off.
