Approved for FAA Wings Program Credit !!!

How to safely fly the San Francisco Bay Tour and information on the newly updated S.F. Bay Tour map, with Max Tresscott.

Brief Description: Learn about the tour from the creator of the S.F. Bay Tour map, which is now updated to incorporate recent S.F. Class B changes. Flying the Bay Tour is fun, though it helps to plan your tour before you depart. There are many considerations, including the routes and altitudes to be flown, ATC communications, required clearances, and weather issues. You'll always want to consider in advance any alternatives, in case you're unable to execute your original plan. There's been at least one fatal accident that occurred while flying a S.F. Bay Tour and you'll learn the details of what went wrong on that flight.

Many of us talk to Travis ATC and some do not. How does our transit through their airspace affect Travis operations and its military flights?

Join Captain Matthew Wangler, who will explain Travis flight operations and how we can responsibly share the airspace.
